Our Services

Dental implants

Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth which look, feel and function like natural teeth.

Gum Grafting

The procedure covers the roots and reinforces the gum tissue where excessive gum recession is present.

Sinus Lift

A sinus augmentation is a surgical procedure to increase the amount of vertical height of bone at the Maxillary Sinus floor above the Alveolar ridge of the upper (Maxillary) jaw.

Sedation Services

Sedation is endorsed by the American Dental Association and is an effective way to make many patients comfortable during their dental visit.

Guided Tissue Regeneration

Regeneration can provide outcomes such as decreased pain and increased wellness, attractiveness, and self-confidence.

Esthetic Crown Lengthening

Crown lengthening is a simple surgical procedure where the position of the gum around a tooth is adjusted to expose more of the tooth structure.

Jaw Augmentation

This is a technique used to restore the lost bone dimension when the jaw ridge gets too thin to place conventional implants.

Socket Preservation

The tooth is removed and the remaining tooth socket is thoroughly cleaned of all inflamed and infected tissue.

Bone Recontouring

During this procedure, Dr. Derhalli folds back the gum tissue and removes diseased tissue and the disease-causing bacteria before securing the tissue into place.

Bone Grafting

Recent advances in technology have dramatically increased the success of bone grafting procedures, leading to bone formation and resolution of the defect.

    Dear Colleague,

I am delighted to share some exciting news with you and your team. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Eric Kim has joined our practice as our new periodontal surgical associate.

Dr. Kim hails from Vancouver, British Columbia, and brings with him an impressive academic and clinical background. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry, where he received both the Dean’s Student Award and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain award in recognition of his exceptional diagnostic and clinical abilities.
Following his initial years practicing as a general dentist in Washington state, Dr. Kim was encouraged by mentors and peers to further his expertise in Periodontology. In 2025, he completed his residency and obtained a Certificate in the Advanced Education Program in Periodontology from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Kim is committed to delivering patient-centered care and is certified to provide IV moderate sedation for patients who experience high dental anxiety. His clinical interests range from saving teeth and treating gum disease to restoring smiles with dental implants. He is dedicated to addressing both the immediate needs and the underlying causes of his patients’ periodontal health concerns.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Kim enjoys running along the waterfront and indulging in decadent ice cream at home. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and is board-eligible to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

We are confident that Dr. Kim’s expertise and compassionate approach will be a tremendous asset to our patients and to you, our valued referral partners. We look forward to collaborating with you to provide the highest standard of periodontal care.
Should you have any questions or wish to discuss a case, please do not hesitate to reach out. Dr. Kim is eager to meet you and work together to achieve the best outcomes for our mutual patients.

    Warm regards,

    Munib Derhalli DMD, MS, MBA

    To our Patients:

We hope this letter finds you and your families in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

You WILL see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

    • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
    • Glass barriers along the reception desk and checkout areas.
    • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
    • You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
    • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment    (i.e. availability of Hygienists).
    • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one  time.
    • We have acquired new technology (Medical grade HEPA filtration and UV. Light disinfecting system) to facilitate the removal of droplets and aerosols during surgical  and hygiene procedures.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 360-254-8151 or visit our website and fill out our contact form.

Thank you for being a part of our practice. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.

    Sincerely,

Dr. Derhalli, Sherry, Terri, Yleanna, Kacy, Jenny and Cindy
